Behaviour change solutions
I help organisations understand, design, and evaluate initiatives that aim to change behaviour,
Behavioural audit & evaluation: If you already have an existing programme, campaign, or initiative in place, I'll help you understand whether it's working, why, and how it could be improved.
Behavioural research & evidence review: If you need to understand what is known about a particular topic or issue, I can help synthesise academic and applied behavioural evidence. I can also help you to generate behavioural insights through qualitative or mixed methods social research.
Behavioural diagnostics & strategy design: If you know the behaviour you want to change, I can help you understand what's driving it, and develop clear, evidence-based strategies and intervention options.
Example outputs:
Behavioural audit report to help identify why an initiative is (or isn’t) working, with recommendations to improve uptake or engagement;
Evidence synthesis report on what has and hasn’t worked to change a specific behaviour;
Survey design or research protocol to gather behavioural insights to inform initiative design;
Behavioural driver mapping using frameworks such as COM-B, habits, and social norms;
Evidence-based behaviour change roadmap of recommended intervention options, including rationale and tradeoffs.
Science communication and review
I help organisations communicate science in ways that are accessible and grounded in evidence. My background in science communication, psychology, ecology, and editing allows me to translate complex information into digestible and engaging content without losing nuance or rigour.
Examples:
Translating research findings into accessible language and/or practical recommendations;
Producing briefs, explainers, summaries, insights, and evidence notes;
Editing and review services that can be tailored depending on whether you need a final polish or more substantive feedback.
