Interventions to encourage healthier, plant-based choices in food service.
I conducted applied social norm interventions in food service establishments in New Zealand and the UK. I compared pre- and post- intervention food purchases and conducted surveys with customer subgroups to assess demographics and dietary habits.

Intervention to reduce household wood burning behaviours to mitigate localised air pollution.
I helped to optimise a Burner Alert system to encourage reduced household wood burning during times of poor local air quality. I also designed a survey to test efficacy, motivations, barriers, and perceptions, assisted in data interpretation, and reported findings in the context of behavioural responsive regulation.
Survey to understand health organisations' readiness to adopt sustainable diet policy.
With the Faculty of Public Health, Eating Better, and the UK Health Alliance on Climate Change, I designed a survey for health organisation representatives to gain insights into existing sustainable diet policies, as well as perceptions of barriers to policy development and implementation.

Speaker at Parks Victoria workshop.
I was invited to speak on challenges related to behaviour change for conservation, such as path adherence and littering. I delivered an accessible overview of behavioural science principles and evidence-based techniques shown to shift conservation and sustainability behaviours, followed by practical recommendations for designing effective public-facing interventions.
Protein diversification webinar development.
With the Good Food Institute and the World Benchmarking Alliance, I developed a presentation for a protein diversification webinar delivered to senior Nestlé stakeholders, corporate leaders, and experts. I synthesised benchmark results, identified best-practice examples, and evaluated Nestlé’s current performance against peers and sector leaders.

Author of UN SDG Encyclopedia reference entry on Food Ethics.
I was selected through an international open academic call to contribute to the Encyclopedia of the UN Sustainable Development Goals reference work on food ethics. I conducted targeted research into ethical principles and frameworks, synthesising complex theories whilst ensuring integrity and accuracy. In writing, I used clear, accessible language for a broad, non-specialist audience, aligning with the publication’s purpose.

Social science research and evidence review.
Across several projects, I have employed social science methods (e.g. surveys, social media scraping, online RCTs) to investigate intergroup perceptions, sentiment, personality impressions, and more. I have also conducted evidence review and scoping research on a range of topics including wood burning behaviour, noise pollution mitigation strategies, workplace waste minimisation strategies, deforestation, ecosystem protection, and more.
